Laptop cd tray opens by itself

08/06/2012 · I have an anti-virus program so I know it's not that. Sometimes the light for it starts blinking and the machine makes noise like it's trying to read a disk that's not there, and then sometimes it randomly opens by itself. Is there any way I can stop this. If the only thing that would work is disabling disk tray, then I'd love to know how to do that.
